Perfectly suited for quick reference in battle.

Background:
Kharadron Overlords are a Duardin culture focused on trade and technology, who, after escaping their former mountain realms, retreated to mighty sky-ports. These sky-ports drift high above the clouds, protected by thick armor plates and the fire of their turrets, while fleets of frigates, Endrinriggers, and Ironclads secure the air routes. Their common foundation is the Kharadron Code, a constitution drafted by captains and trade lords. In articles, amendments, and footnotes, it dictates everything from how to deal with captured pirates to crew profit sharing. Decision-making power lies with the Geldraad assemblies of the large ports, but rank and influence are primarily measured by plundered wealth.

The heart of their industry is Aether-gold, a rare, shimmering gas that condenses when escaping from the realms high above. Endrinmasters pump it into ballistic chambers that negate hull gravity and also power weapons like Aethermatics. Every new deposit calls forth urgent prospecting fleets and sometimes bloody feuds with other sky powers. Six large sky-ports dominate the sky trade. Barak-Nar is considered a center of science and diplomacy, Barak-Zilfin home to the boldest pilots, Barak-Zon strives for martial glory, Barak-Urbaz hoards alchemical treasures, Barak-Mhornar strikes from the shadows, and Barak-Thryng keeps long grudgebearings. Despite rival interests, these ports join their cannon lines in the face of existential threats and dispatch united corsair fleets.

As mercenaries, traders, or conquerors, Kharadron Overlords traverse cloud seas and unleash energetic salvos from Grundstok guns, while Endrin hooks clamp them onto enemy ships. Their pursuit of profit never ends, but their courage is as legendary as their sense of contracts, for anyone who violates the Code must reckon with bombardment from above or the seizure of all assets.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1058/4434/3115/files/httpstradegames-workshopcomassets20250704050205005gerkharadronoverlordswarscrollcards3jpg-1832496.jpg?v=1784072867
