Bad idea – it's usually hotter than you think. With Vallejo Vulcan Black (0.1–0.6 mm), you can bring the atmosphere of cooled lava fields directly into your diorama, without burning your shoes.

The fine grain size of 0.1–0.6 mm creates subtle, realistic textures. In terms of color, Vulcan Black delivers a deep black with slightly gray nuances – perfect for basalt soils, scorched earth, lava fields, or ruins. Ideal for dark fantasy scenes, sci-fi landscapes, or historical dioramas that could use some drama.

Application: Simply sprinkle onto the desired area and fix. This works best with Vallejo Terrain Fixer, which permanently stabilizes the grains. Alternatively, white glue, matte medium, or clear varnish can also be used. Vulcan Black is excellent as a top layer or in combination with Vallejo Thick Mud, Ground Textures, or Earth Textures. Multiple layers create a particularly authentic depth.

Cleaning: Carefully brush or vacuum off excess particles. Tools that have come into contact with glue or paint are best cleaned with Vallejo Brush Cleaner.

Safety: Please observe the information on the product label.
