The setting combines classic fantasy elements such as dragons, Orruks, trolls, noble knights, undead armies, dark wizards and powerful monsters with divine wars, ancient empires, powerful magic and cosmic powers.

Players collect and paint miniatures, assemble armies from them and lead them against each other in tactical battles on the game table. Each faction has its own units, abilities, playstyles and backstories, making each army feel different.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar can be played in individual skirmishes, narrative campaigns or tournament formats. Rulebooks, warscrolls, expansions and other game aids expand the game with new possibilities, scenarios and tactical challenges.

Background:
Butchers are among the most devoted worshippers of the Gulping God. For them, hunger, faith, and gut-magic are inextricably linked. Even when battle rages all around, they seek out suitable ingredients for meals that seem appropriate for their ravenous god.

Even more sinister are the Gut Magic Casters. Their booming chants drown out the din of battle and are intended to disrupt enemy wizards and priests in the exercise of their own powers. Through their connection to gut-magic, they also become part of the Butchers' sorcery.

Amidst blood, the clamor of battle, and the remnants of slain enemies, these followers of the Gulping God do their work. To other peoples, this may seem like a gruesome mixture of butchery and magic. For the Ogors, all these things simply belong to the great hunger of their god.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1058/4434/3115/files/httpstradegames-workshopcomassets20260899120213044ogormawtribescleavers07jpg-1844908.jpg?v=1786784300
