Chipping Medium Air by Vallejo is a specialized water-based effect medium, specifically developed for creating realistic paint chipping effects on vehicles, armor, or mechas.
It is applied between two layers of paint – by subsequently moistening, the top paint layer can be selectively scraped or "chipped" away.

Thanks to its liquid consistency, the medium is airbrush-ready.
It is ideal for larger surfaces or controlled aging effects with a brush and sponge.
