This German-language card set includes all Drukhari datasheets in a handy format. Perfect for quick reference in battle and as a supplement to the Codex.
Background:
The Drukhari are the corrupted legacy of a once-exalted people. After the collapse of their civilization, they fled into the secret tunnels of the Webway and there established Commorragh, a city of black glass and patched latticework, floating in endless shafts. In this Dark City, they feed on the agony of others, for every heartbeat full of pain momentarily sates the hungry gaze of the deity who once birthed them from their hubris.
Their social structure resembles a nightmare of intrigue. Archons rule over Kabals like spiders over webs, Wych Cults transform suffering into bloody arena spectacles, and Haemonculi shape captive souls into hissing Grotesques. Overseeing all is Asdrubael Vect, a born slave who rose to the top of the Kabal of the Black Heart through cunning and murder. His word is law, for in Commorragh, power is measured solely by fear.
To satisfy their endless greed, the Drukhari rip open portals, plunge into the material world, and carry off all living things in chains. Their raids last only moments, yet they leave behind gutted cities and the whisper that the shadow of the Dark City can reach any place. Every tear, every scream, and every heartbeat of mortal fear flows as a sweet essence to Commorragh, extending the lives of its rulers for another night.
Yet beyond all this cruelty, a desperate hope burns within the Drukhari: never to be devoured by that greedy deity. Therefore, they fight because they want to live, and they live by destroying limitlessly.
