The Dark Eye - Mysteries of the Godwhale

On the spray-swept shores of the Godwal, brave seafarers, magically powerful animal warriors, and sinister horrors from pitch-black depths and bygone days make life in the far north a true challenge.
Ancient secrets and mysteries entwine around this region, and this book compiles them all. This game aid, intended only for the eyes of the gamemaster, contains explanations of the regional mysteries alluded to in "The Shores of Godwal." It includes exciting adventure hooks, detailed stat blocks for typical non-player characters, regional animals, and monsters according to the rules of the 5th Edition of "The Dark Eye."

Also included is the fully developed regional adventure "Runes of Fate":
Every Thorwaler knows that the fate of every human is predetermined by the Runjas. But just because the destination is certain doesn't mean one knows the journey. Thus, the seers of the North often consult their runes to interpret the will of fate. However, the most legendary runes, those gifted to Jurga Tjalfsdottir by Swafnir himself, have long since become mere material for songs and sagas.
But what if they truly existed? What if there's a grain of truth in the stories of Jurga's lost brother, who sought to reveal the true destiny of the Thorwalers with the runes? The search for such a mystical treasure would truly be worth a saga of its own. But only intrepid, weather-hardened, and very adaptable heroes would likely be able to follow in the footsteps of fate on a path that could lead them beyond the borders of Thorwal.

Are you these Rekker? Do you have what it takes to brave the sea as well as the icy mountains? Do you have the courage to negotiate with brawling sailors, eerie alfen figures, and headstrong barbarians? Are your blades sharp enough to vanquish the sinister horrors of the North? Then embark on the quest for the Runes of Fate. May the Runjas guide you!
