The Imperial Archives 3 focuses on the activities of merchants and the folk beliefs prevalent in many rural areas of the Empire. Several minor faiths are examined anew and in detail, and forgotten beliefs are scrutinized. New priestly careers and miracles are described, and the range of non-adventuring activities is expanded.
- Legitimate Businesses: A guide to founding a business in the Empire, with detailed information on how to make a profit and grow from modest beginnings into a powerful enterprise.
- The Cult of Handrich, God of Commerce: Merchants throughout the Old World seek Handrich's blessing for their business, but his cult is still young, and his priests are rarely found outside Marienburg.
- Folk Belief and Hedge Magic: The beliefs and traditions of the inhabitants of the Empire's rural areas are examined in detail. The Old Faith is a tradition predating Sigmar's arrival, whose importance and power have since faded. The practice of hedge magic is described in detail, including several new spells. Khaine, as a lesser god of murder, is also examined more closely.
- The Cult of Solkan, God of Vengeance: Although he is a largely forgotten deity whose puritanical beliefs are too strict and uncompromising for most people, Solkan promises aid to those who wish to enact divine retribution.
- The Cult of Rhya, Goddess of Fertility: Invoked by those who till the soil and tend the sheep, Rhya may seem a distant deity to the inhabitants of the Empire's cities, but in the countryside, understanding her ways often means the difference between life and death.
- Rule Updates and Additions: The Archives also contain new rules for various armours, additional minor magical effects, animal companions for witches and wizards, updated starting skills and talents for characters from the various districts of Altdorf, as well as an idealistic warrior of the Jungfrueds.
