This set contains all the necessary parts to build 6 Ork Kommandos and 2 Ork Bomb Squigs for Kill Team and Warhammer 40k, as well as matching bases. Also included is a transfer sheet with 438 decals and a set of tokens suitable for Kill Team.
The models are made of plastic, unpainted, and require assembly.
Background:
In the war-torn expanses of the 41st Millennium, Orks are synonymous with chaos, destruction, and raw violence. But some among them have dedicated themselves particularly to the art of annihilation: the Kommandos. These brutal warriors are not only blessed with raw muscle power but also delight in using explosives, rocket launchers, and other unpredictable weapons to lay everything to waste.
They particularly enjoy leveling Imperial fortifications. With primal ingenuity, they get their hands on Astra Militarum explosives or build insane rocket batteries from captured Munitorum supplies, causing chaos with unpredictable trajectories and loud detonations. Gretchin sometimes serve as living ignition mechanisms, a practice the smaller greenskins fear rather than appreciate.
Their tactics may seem chaotic, but they follow an unwritten Ork logic: the bigger the explosion, the better. They lay minefields that can be as dangerous to their own ranks as to the enemy, or place explosives on vehicles, sometimes even while they are still moving. They have a particular aversion to titanic war machines, seeing them as nothing more than a challenge to blow up.
Even among Orks, they command a certain respect – or at least a healthy dose of fear. Their boss is usually the one with the biggest scars and the loudest voice, while his subordinates eagerly emulate him by staging ever larger and crazier explosions. In the eyes of the Kommandos, there is nothing that cannot be brought down with enough explosives and blunt force. Their enemies usually learn this the hard way – if they even survive long enough to learn from it.
