Ijn J3 SP (Amber Grey) by AK Interactive is a silk-matte lacquer paint in 18 ml. It is smooth to apply with the airbrush; it adheres to the surface and dries with a soft finish.

How do you apply the paint?

You can thin the paint with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or another thinner for lacquer-based paints. It withstands all types of weathering products.

Background of the paint

The anti-corrosion evolution of the J3 paint was introduced in 1940 for the painting of the metal surfaces of the aircraft of the Ijn (Imperial Japanese Navy). Until 1943 it was used as a full color, after that only for the undersides.
