Throughout Lorakis, there are nomadic peoples known as showmen or tinkers who travel the land, offering their goods and services to the settled population. The call of the road is alluring, the freedom of perpetual travelers seemingly boundless. However, many dangers lurk along the way, and in some places, nomads are greeted with pitchforks, as they also have a reputation as thieves and swindlers. When the hoofbeats of the shaggy Levashir horses are heard and singing and laughter reach the ears, every child in Dragorea knows: The Teleshai are on the move. This joyful elven folk travels the land in their brightly painted wagons, offering their services as showmen and day laborers. Whoever truly wants to understand this mysterious people must listen to their fantastic legends, which tell of bird gods and ghost horses. It is not to the roads but to the sea that the Afali sea folk have entrusted their fate since a prophecy warned them of an impending catastrophe fifty years ago. Since then, they have superstitiously avoided the mainland and regard their ships as their new home, sailing all seas and even building floating cities. In ports, they trade exotic marine goods or entertain the land people as fortune tellers or tattoo artists.
However, the strictly religious Afali always follow their sacred mission until the gods' signs reveal a legendary secret to them one day. Nomadic Peoples is an expansion for the Splittermond role-playing game that describes the two nomadic peoples, the Teleshai and the Afali. Players and game masters will learn about the extraordinary cultures of these two peoples and gain exciting insights into the adventurous life of constant travel, be it on the road or at sea. New rule applications for fortune tellers and wave masters allow for the appropriate development of nomadic characters. The volume also contains two adventures in which you can experience both peoples up close.
In Outlawed, the task is to find a group of lost children - could the passing Teleshai clan be behind it? Or are the nomads just being made scapegoats? The Afali, on the other hand, are searching for a Sunken Hope in the southern Albensee. But is what lies at the bottom of the sea really worth the perilous journey?
