Description
With this multi-part plastic kit, you can build a Custodian Guard unit of the Adeptus Custodes, Legio Custodes for Warhammer 40k, Warhammer The Horus Heresy.
Gameplay:
Custodes: Custodian Guard expands Legio Custodes as Custodian Guard as high-quality infantry of the Legio Custodes. The item is suitable for players who want to hold key mission objectives, tie down enemy elites and form the line of a small but extremely powerful army. On the tabletop, it plays a clear role in the army: It can apply pressure, secure important mission areas, open movement options or specifically complement existing units. In Custodes armies, this role distribution is particularly important because every unit is expensive, resilient and crucial to the game plan. The model or set therefore offers not only collectible value, but also concrete tactical options for narrative games, campaigns and demanding army lists where positioning and target selection decide the outcome.
Contents:
- 6 Custodians
- matching bases
Note:
The miniatures are made of plastic, are unpainted and must be assembled. Glue and paints are not included.
The Horus Heresy
The Horus Heresy is a tabletop strategy game in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, set around 10,000 years before the wars of the 41st millennium. At its center is the galactic civil war, in which the Space Marine legions of the Imperium split between loyalists and traitors.
The setting combines dark science fiction with ancient tragedy, imperial megalomania and the downfall of a golden age. Primarchs, legions, war machines, Titans, traitors, fanatical loyalists and massive fleet wars define this era of betrayal.
Players lead legions and forces of the 31st millennium against each other in large battles. The Horus Heresy is particularly suitable for hobbyists who love epic warfare, Space Marine legions, detailed backstories and the tragic fall of the Imperium.
Custodian Guard
Custodes: Custodian Guard is thematically connected to the warriors of the Ten Thousand, who embody a combination of flawless discipline and superhuman combat prowess as the Emperor's personal guards. The Legio Custodes and their modern Adeptus Custodes successors stand for a warrior elite whose equipment is not industrial standard, but rare craftsmanship. Every vehicle, every Dreadnought and every single warrior appears as a tool of the Imperial Palace, created for tasks where normal troops would fail. In the background of the Horus Heresy, this presence takes on an additional tragedy, because even the Emperor's most loyal guards are drawn into the civil war. The model brings this mixture of splendor, duty and relentless violence directly into the collection.
