Background:
The Daughters of Khaine are a fanatical blood cult that worships the war god Khaine and views blood sacrifice as a sacred act. Their shrines and temples are not silent places of prayer, but rather sites of discipline, consecration, and preparation for murder. In their rituals, spilled blood is considered a source of power, and with each sacrifice, they believe, they fuel Khaine's wrath and strengthen the cult. Many of their warriors are raised in this faith from an early age, learning blade and poison as others learn to read, and entering battle with a kind of religious ecstasy that drives them ever deeper into close combat.

At the center of this religion is Morathi. She has shaped the cult for ages, expanding it and binding it to herself politically and spiritually. Her closest creations are the Scáthborn, beings that have emerged from her power and secrets and hold a special position in the cult. On the surface, the cult often appears as a chain of temple realms and sects, but the common thread always remains the same: blood rituals, strict hierarchy, and the conviction that the death of an enemy is a sacrifice that increases one's own power.
