Contents:
This German-language hardcover book contains everything you need to lead the Emperor's Children into battle. The Codex includes all the rules, datasheets, detachments, and Combat Patrol rules. It also features extensive background lore, illustrations, color schemes, and a gallery of painted Citadel miniatures.
Background:
Once the Emperor's pride, chosen to embody perfection in every action, every raid, every breath. The Emperor’s Children were the Third Space Marine Legion, blessed with extraordinary discipline, unmatched elegance, and the blessing of their Primarch Fulgrim, a warrior, artist, and visionary. Yet, what began as a pursuit of perfection ended in a cruel descent into madness, decadence, and excess.
During the Great Crusade, they were considered flawless—both in form and spirit. But Fulgrim’s pride became the gateway for Chaos’s influence. In his quest to achieve the ultimate, he opened his soul to the corrupting whispers of Slaanesh, the Dark Prince of Pleasure and Extremes. The Legion willingly followed him into damnation. Music became a weapon, pain an intoxicant, and war an ecstatic ritual. The sound of detonating bolters mixes with the delusional harmonies of their Noise Marines, while their battle lines are accompanied by distorted chanting.
Today, the Emperor’s Children are a legion of madness, driven by a hunger for ever-new sensations. Their bodies are distorted, their senses heightened, their weapons as cruel as they are artistic. No act is too abhorrent, no deed too excessive, if it serves the cult of perfection. Fulgrim himself, now a daemonic avatar of Slaanesh, gazes with consuming joy at what his children have made of his legacy.
Wherever the Emperor’s Children march, a chorus of madness, suffering, and indescribable beauty follows. In their presence, order, morality, and sanity crumble. They do not just fight to win—they fight to feel.
