Faction Starter Bundle: Khaine's War Cry

Contents:
The "Faction Starter Bundle: Khaine's War Song" calls a forged host of Aeldari warriors to battle, led by the blazing Avatar of Khaine, whose burning blade makes the ancient war song of the God of War resound. By his side stands Asurmen, First Phoenix King and Master of the Dire Avengers, whose unerring blade storm catapult shatters every advance. A veteran Autarch coordinates assault attacks with artistic precision, while a farsighted Rune Prophet weaves the threads of providence and unleashes deadly energies from the web of souls.

Core troops of Storm Guardians and Dire Avengers hold key points under storming shuriken fire, while glowing Fire Dragons melt armour with fusion cannons. Flickering Warp Spiders tear open rifts in space and leap into deadly ambushes, followed by the lightning-fast Howling Banshees, whose shrieking masks break the enemy's morale. Gleaming Wraithguard stalk through ruin fields like silent titans, and a majestic Wraithlord leads the colossi with ghostly composure. A sturdy Wave Serpent cuts through battle lines with prism shields and brings Asuryani warriors safely to the front – until the war song fades in a final, devastating crescendo.

Background:
The Aeldari are an ancient and highly advanced race that once ruled a galaxy-spanning empire. In their heyday, they were masters of psionics, art, and technology, but their pursuit of excess and self-actualization led to their downfall. From their decadence arose the Chaos god Slaanesh, whose birth destroyed the heart of their empire and triggered the so-called "Fall" – a cosmic event that wiped out billions of Aeldari and forever changed the Warp. The survivors of this collapse split into various factions. The largest among them are the Asuryani, who live on massive worldships – the so-called Craftworlds. They attempt to escape Slaanesh's temptations through disciplined paths of life. Their culture is highly regulated and based on spiritual control to tame the dangers of their inner powers. Asuryani warriors specialize in clearly defined roles, such as Dire Avengers, Warp Spiders, or Banshees, and wear ornate armour and advanced weapons made of Wraithbone. Alongside them exist other subgroups such as the Harlequins, who appear as messengers of the laughing god Cegorach and preserve the history of their race through mythical dances, or the Ynnari, who follow the rising god Ynnead and see a new hope for salvation. But despite all their differences, they are united by one goal: the survival of their race in a galaxy that has long since outpaced them. The Aeldari possess a deep connection to the Warp, but that is precisely what makes them vulnerable to Slaanesh's greed. To protect their souls, they carry so-called soulstones, which capture their essence upon death. For without this protection, they would fall to the Chaos god. In this constant tightrope walk between power and damnation, the Aeldari wage an endless battle – against enemies from without, but also against the legacy of their own hubris.
