This set contains all the necessary parts to build 20 Phoenix Guard of the High Elf Realms for Warhammer The Old World, as well as appropriate bases. The set contains enough parts to build 2 command detachments.

The models are made of plastic, unpainted and require assembly.

Background:
Deep in the heart of Ulthuan, where the veil between this world and the next thins, stands the Temple of Asuryan – a place of white marble and flickering mist. Here serve the Phoenix Guard, a silent host of warriors whose souls linger on the threshold of eternity. It is said that those admitted into the ranks of the Phoenix Guard have glimpsed the end of time – and their own, inescapable destiny. This revelation burns away all that is mundane from the mind, leaving behind only cold determination. No word ever passes their lips, for what they have seen cannot be shared with mortals.

Their armour, tempered in the holy flames of Asuryan, gleams like silver mirrors, streaked with flickering veins of embers. Every blade, every halberd they wield, seems to carry a fragment of divine wrath. In battle, they advance with unshakeable calm, while chaos rages around them. Their mere presence is enough to bolster the courage of their allies and make even the cruelest hordes waver. No shout, no roar accompanies their attacks – only the hiss of sharp blades and the whisper of the fire they carry within them.

The Phoenix Guard do not appear by command, but out of necessity. When Ulthuan shakes to its foundations, when shadows from Naggaroth or demons from the Otherworld advance, the gates of the temple open. Without warning, they march out of the mist, unstoppable, inscrutable, driven by a power beyond comprehension. And just as they come, they disappear again – back into the silence of the Temple of Asuryan, to where time, pain, and language no longer hold meaning.
