With the Green Stuff World Push-Pop mixing palette, you mix paints in separate, flexible wells. The non-stick coating makes it easier to peel off or push out dried paint, especially with medium to thick layers of paint.
Put the paint directly into the wells, mix it, and start painting; no special preparation or wetting is required. The dry mixing surface is particularly suitable for water-based dipping paints, metallic acrylic paints, hobby inks, and washes without thinning them with additional moisture. The white base makes it easier to judge the shades, while the separate mixing areas provide space for larger brushes and multiple paints – for example, when painting miniatures, models, dioramas, or cosplay projects.
Very thin layers of paint or small amounts of paint may leave brittle residue when they dry; remove it with warm water, a little mild soap, and gentle rubbing with your hand or a soft sponge. For stubborn or long-dried residue, you can sparingly use alcohol, airbrush cleaner, or paint thinner in a well-ventilated area, and then rinse thoroughly with water. Clean the palette regularly so that pigment deposits do not accumulate, especially with intense inks and metallic paints.
The manufacturer recommends water-based or acrylic-compatible paints: Aggressive solvent-based materials such as ceramic lacquer, enamel paints, spirit-based metallic paints, and cyanoacrylate adhesives can damage the surface and make it discolored, sticky, or brittle. Strongly coloring substances can also cause discoloration with prolonged contact; the non-stick coating does not completely prevent this; normally, the function remains intact.
Pro tip: If you want to try a solvent-rich product, first check the chemical manufacturer's guidelines and, if possible, test a small amount on an inconspicuous area of the mixing surface.
Warning: Not suitable for children under 36 months. Contains small parts that can be swallowed.
